Luberon - Roussillon, Lacoste
Roussillon: About 15 minutes away from Gordes, you encounter a completely different scenery. Famous for its ochre cliffs, Roussillon boasts a vibrant palette that colors the village and its surroundings. The walking trails, the colorful houses and the unique natural landscapes make this village so different than its neighboring towns. With a lay back vibe, this charming place will captivate you with its nature, stores and restaurants. For me, as an artist, I could stay here all day long taking pictures of gorgeous weathered facade, potted plant windows and colored doors. An endless source of inspiration…
Lacoste
Lacoste: Once home to the Marquis de Sade, Lacoste features narrow streets and a historic castle that overlooks the village. The blend of history and artistic influence adds to its charm, making it a captivating stop. You can snap the perfect picture here in every corner, and honestly I want every and each of those plant pots in my house. Not a lot of restaurants here so plan accordingly.
